Kristijan Popović
Kristijan Popović (b. 1998) graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts, University of Zagreb, in 2025, where he studied under Assistant Professor of Art Predrag Pavić. Since 2018, he has been actively working in theatre and film set design. He has participated in numerous group exhibitions and has held four solo exhibitions. He is the recipient of the University of Zagreb Rector’s Award (2021/2022 and 2022/2023), the Third Prize for Young Artists at the Ivan Kožarić Award of the Museum of Contemporary Art (MSU), Zagreb (2022), and the Jury’s First Prize at the Starter Prize competition at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp (2023). He also graduated summa cum laude from the Academy of Fine Arts, University of Zagreb, receiving this distinction for both his Bachelor’s and Master’s studies (2024/2025). In 2026, he was selected as one of the finalists for the Radoslav Putar Award. He is currently an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts, University of Zagreb.
