














Paula Tončić (1997, Zagreb) is an artist whose practice engages with archives, image, object, film, and sound. She uses the process of archiving as a method for investigating time, social structures, and their disappearance. She is interested in material as a carrier of memory—trace, error, and transience as key elements of her work.
She holds an MA in New Media and Animation from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. She currently lives and works in Amsterdam, where she attends the Dirty Art Department at the Sandberg Instituut.
She is the recipient of the Marina Viculin Award (2025), the MMSU KAMOV Award (2024), the ERSTE GRAND PRIX at the 37th Youth Salon (2024), and the Kolekcionar umjetniku Award (2024).
